About the role

There is currently one full-time, fixed term contract post until 31 December 2027, subject to review.

You will be responsible to the Peace Programme Lead Officer for the provision of a comprehensive range of Business Support activities in relation to the administration, implementation, and effective delivery of the PEACEPLUS Programme, financed through EU and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

The postholder will specifically:

  1. Provide administrative support to the Peace Programme unit to ensure the smooth running of daily office activities and assist the Lead Officer in providing advice and guidance to staff in the unit on administrative matters.
  1. Establish and maintain appropriate administrative records, filing systems and processes, and assist with the update of monitoring records and databases using both manual and electronic systems.
  1. Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, activities, and travel across the team including supporting related boards and steering groups, compiling and issue of agenda, meeting papers and reports, and follow up on action items to ensure timeline are met.

  2. Support the implementation of the Plan and its communications strategy through the coordination and preparation of communications and publicity materials including liaising with the SEUPB.
  1. Coordinate the provision of goods and services including the ordering, servicing and maintenance of the unit’s office supplies and equipment, for example, IT equipment, in accordance with the council, departmental and section procedures.
